Live at the Purple Lounge pulls back the curtain on the lives of five women stand-up comedians in varying stages of their careers. In the green room of the infamous "Purple Lounge" comedy club, relationships are tested, love is lost and found, and sacrifices are made as the play examines the humorous and not-so-humorous moments of five extraordinary women trying to make it in the cutthroat world of stand-up comedy.

Callie Burk-Hartz is an Indianapolis native that grew her talents in LA, Vancouver, BC, and NYC while earning degrees in Theatre and Film. She has performed off-broadway, voiced several video games, and loves making B horror films. Locally you have seen her on stage at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, TOTS, NoExit Performance, White Rabbit, and Fringe. She has taught acting at IRT and taught and directed at Anderson University and IUPUI. She currently works for Iheart Radio across the nation and teaches theatre and film at University High School of Indiana and adult classes at the Phoenix Theatre.
