It takes skill — both from a writer and from a production team — to navigate a course that mixes such silliness with sharp satire and moments of honest humanity. And the Betty Rage team pulls it off.

Working with Callie during Jollyship was an absolute blast. She knows the abilities of everyone in the room and gives them the freedom to play and build from there.

“Callie comes with knowledge of every aspect of a theatrical production. She can make the necessary practical decisions of a producer and the big-picture aesthetic choices of a director or designer, and she has the moment-to-moment responsiveness of an actor. Most people (myself, included) can only do one of those things. She’s one of only a few people I’d work with simply because she’s involved.”
